The Opportunity

We at SalesPro Partners are recruiting on behalf of our client for an ambitious and growing B2B services business are looking for a driven Appointment Setter / B2B Lead Generator to join its team.

The role will focus on identifying and engaging prospective UK businesses, speaking with senior decision-makers and generating qualified sales appointments for the senior leadership team.

This is for someone who enjoys working towards targets, is resilient and thrives on winning but can handle objections too.

Responsibilities include -

  • Research and identify relevant UK businesses and target prospects and book in appointments for the snr sales team to convert.
  • Generate leads through telephone, email, LinkedIn and other outbound channels.
  • Engage business owners and senior decision-makers, including MDs, Finance Directors and Credit Managers.
  • Qualify prospects and understand their business challenges and requirements.
  • Create genuine interest and secure qualified appointments.
  • Maintain an accurate and well-organised prospect pipeline.
  • Follow up consistently with warm and previously engaged prospects.
  • Record activity, conversations and next steps accurately.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to refine targeting, messaging and sales strategy.
  • Contribute to building a consistent and scalable appointment-generation process.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in B2B appointment setting, lead generation, telesales, SDR, business development or outbound sales.
  • A strong track record of generating appointments or sales opportunities.
  • Confident speaking with business owners and senior decision-makers.
  • Resilient, proactive and highly self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisation, follow-up and pipeline-management discipline.
  • Comfortable working in a phone-led, target-driven environment.
  • A genuine hunger to succeed and deliver results.

Experience within finance, credit control, debt recovery, collections, legal services, insolvency, accountancy or other B2B outsourced services would be advantageous, but is not essential.
