About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and commercially driven Sales Development Representative to drive outbound growth, with a primary focus on the US market. This is an exciting opportunity to own one of our fastest-growing territories, with significant greenfield potential and the chance to make a real impact on our commercial success.

You'll be responsible for building relationships with senior security and IT leaders, generating qualified sales opportunities, and introducing organisations to Rootshell's continuous security approach, helping customers move beyond traditional point-in-time penetration testing.

Working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams, you'll identify target accounts, execute personalised outbound campaigns, and build a high-quality sales pipeline through a multi-channel approach, including phone, email, and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

  • Drive outbound prospecting into the US market through high-volume, high-quality cold calling.
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through a multi-channel outbound approach.
  • Build relationships with CISOs, IT Directors, Security Managers, and other senior decision-makers.
  • Research target accounts and tailor messaging based on each organisation's security priorities and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Account Executives to refine targeting, messaging, and campaign performance.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking using Salesforce.
  • Continuously test, measure, and improve outreach strategies to maximise pipeline generation and conversion.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
