Sales Development Representative - Remote

£35,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £50,000+)

Fully Remote | UK Based

About the Company

A fast-growing, founder-led SaaS technology business that is transforming how organisations manage and support their frontline workforce. This is the founder's third business, having previously built and successfully exited two HR technology companies before launching this latest venture. The company is now entering an exciting growth phase, backed by significant investment into its sales, marketing and technology infrastructure.

Their platform helps organisations improve workforce visibility, attendance, onboarding, safety and operational efficiency. Combining software, AI and smart workplace technology, the business provides organisations with real-time insights into what is happening across their workforce, helping them make better decisions, improve compliance and keep employees safe. Customers typically include organisations across facilities management, healthcare, logistics, retail, hospitality and manufacturing, selling to HR, Operations and business leaders.

The Opportunity

This is not your typical SDR role.

The business has invested heavily in AI, automation and modern go-to-market technology to create a smarter and more efficient outbound sales engine. Rather than spending hours manually building lists and researching targets, you'll have access to intelligent workflows, automated prospecting processes and AI-powered insights designed to help you focus on what you do best: creating opportunities and opening doors.

You'll be responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities for the Account Executive team, whilst helping to build and optimise a modern outbound function that combines technology, data and human engagement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This role would suit an SDR who genuinely enjoys outbound sales and prospecting, and wants to become an expert in modern pipeline generation rather than simply viewing SDR as a short-term stepping stone.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities for the commercial team
  • Build relationships with HR, Operations and business decision-makers
  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns across phone, email and LinkedIn
  • Leverage AI-powered prospecting tools and automated workflows
  • Follow up on daily intent signals, prospect recommendations and target accounts generated by the system
  • Identify buying signals such as growth plans, hiring activity and organisational change
  • Build and manage prospect lists using modern sales engagement tools
  • Maintain accurate CRM and prospect data
  • Work closely with leadership to continually improve outbound performance and conversion rates
  • Contribute to the development of a scalable, highly efficient outbound engine

Why This Role Is Different

Most SDR roles still rely heavily on manual prospecting and volume-based outreach.

This company has taken a different approach. They have invested significantly in:

  • AI-powered prospecting
  • Sales automation
  • Data enrichment
  • Signal-based targeting
  • Agentic workflows and intelligent lead identification

This means you'll receive daily insights, recommended prospects and trigger events that help prioritise the right conversations at the right time.

The goal isn't simply to work harder. It's to work smarter.
