Looking to build a career in Sales and SaaS?
We’re growing our Sales Development team at IRIS Software Group and are looking for ambitious, confident and driven people to join us in our Manchester office.
As an SDR, you’ll be at the start of our sales process – speaking with potential customers, understanding their businesses and identifying opportunities where IRIS can help.
You don’t need to be the finished article. We’re looking for people with the right attitude, communication skills and ambition to learn and develop within sales.

πŸ“ž What Will You Be Doing?

  • Prospecting and identifying potential new customers
  • Speaking with decision-makers through outbound calls
  • Using tools such as LinkedIn and our CRM to find and engage prospects
  • Asking great questions to understand customer challenges
  • Qualifying potential sales opportunities
  • Booking meetings and creating opportunities for our wider Sales team
  • Working towards individual activity, pipeline and performance targets
  • Developing your knowledge of IRIS, our customers and our software
  • Working within a supportive, competitive and high-energy sales environment

We want our SDRs to develop and progress.
You'll build the foundations of B2B software sales – prospecting, qualification, pipeline generation, objection handling and commercial conversations – with opportunities to progress into more senior sales roles as you develop.

Successful applicants will be invited to our Manchester office on 14th September, from 9:30am until approximately 2:30pm.

The day will give you the chance to:

  • Meet the IRIS Sales team
  • Learn more about IRIS and the SDR opportunity
  • Take part in individual and group activities
  • Complete a sales-focused exercise/roleplay
  • Interview with members of the team
  • Ask questions and get a feel for what working at IRIS is actually like
