Sales Development Representative - Series A Scale-up, Progression to Account Executive
£35,000 - £42,000 base + uncapped commission | London | Office-based (5 days) - Camden
A Series A InsurTech scale-up is hiring an SDR to join a high-performing commercial team selling into senior insurance decision-makers across MGAs, syndicates, reinsurers and global insurers. This is a role for someone who enjoys intelligent conversations rather than high-volume script reading.
You will join a business with strong market momentum, a healthy pipeline and clear progression opportunities. The team values curiosity, commercial awareness and the ability to learn quickly far more than a specific industry background.
You will also stay involved after the meeting is booked, joining customer conversations and learning directly from experienced Account Executives. It is a far better route into enterprise technology sales than the typical SDR production line.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
