Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Servicom (High Tech) Ltd - Hybrid - London / Midlands / WFH

Full-time · Reporting to our Commercial Director

The opportunity

Servicom keeps some of the UK's most demanding operations connected. Organisations including Gatwick Airport, Wimbledon and DHL trust us to design and support their mission-critical communications and security systems.

After more than 35 years in the industry, we're investing in the next stage of our growth and building a dedicated new-business team.

We're looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative to help build the pipeline that fuels it.

What you'll do

  • Research target companies and sectors to identify organisations we should be speaking to
  • Identify the right decision-makers within prospective customers
  • Use phone, email and LinkedIn to start new conversations
  • Carry out consistent outbound prospecting across sectors including transport, industrial, logistics and public services
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities
  • Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for the wider commercial team
  • Work closely with the commercial team to turn initial conversations into real sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline in our CRM
  • Learn our products, customers and target markets

  • A confident communicator who isn't afraid to pick up the phone
  • Curious, resilient and genuinely motivated by hitting targets
  • Comfortable starting conversations with people you've never spoken to before
  • Organised and disciplined in how you manage your activity
  • Commercially curious and keen to understand how businesses operate
  • Ambitious to build a career in B2B sales
