Job Summary

We are looking for highly motivated, commercially driven individuals to join our Ent Sales team as New Business Account Managers. This is a high-activity, new logo acquisition role focused on identifying, engaging, and onboarding new customers into SHI. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline through outbound activity, developing relationships with prospective clients, and positioning SHI’s technology solutions across a broad portfolio. This role is designed as the entry point into our enterprise sales organisation, with a clear pathway into more strategic, account-based selling roles as you develop.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Proactively identify and engage new prospective customers across the UK mid-market
  • Generate pipeline through outbound activity (calls, email, LinkedIn, events)
  • Build and manage a consistent cadence of high-volume prospecting activity

Sales Execution

  • Qualify opportunities and uncover customer needs
  • Position SHI technology solutions, working with internal specialists where required
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle (initial engagement through to close)

Pipeline & Performance Management

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking within CRM
  • Consistently exceed activity targets, pipeline coverage, and revenue goals
  • Develop a structured approach to prospecting, account prioritisation, and follow-up

Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams including presales, vendor specialists, and operations
  • Align with account teams to support transition of customers into long-term account management

Experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role preferred
  • Experience working in a target-driven or KPI-led environment
  • Exposure to technology sales is beneficial but not essential

Skills & Attributes

  • High energy, resilience, and a strong desire to succeed in sales
  • Comfortable operating in a high-activity, outbound sales environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Coachable, with a growth mindset and willingness to learn

What Success Looks Like

  • High levels of outbound activity and engagement with prospective customers
  • Consistent pipeline generation and new customer acquisition
  • Rapid development of commercial sales skills and market understanding
  • Progression into more advanced sales roles based on performance
  • Ability to develop leads and prospect using tools such as SalesNav, ZoomInfo, Discoverorg etc.
