About The Role

We’re building a more strategic SDR motion across Shopify’s EMEA Enterprise segment.

This role is not about creating more generic activity. You’ll work a focused set of complex accounts and turn real signals into coordinated account plays. That means researching the business, developing a clear “why now,” mapping the buying group, and creating personalised outreach across email, phone, LinkedIn, events, gifting, and partner motions.

You’ll work closely with Account Executives & Marketing to create qualified pipeline while protecting the prospect experience and avoiding overlapping outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build account-level hypotheses using business, technology, engagement, and relationship signals.
  • Map and validate multiple stakeholders across ecommerce, digital, payments, finance, retail operations, IT, and executive leadership.
  • Create thoughtful, highly personalised multichannel outreach.
  • Activate plays & campaigns across priority prospects, engaged accounts, and relevant closed-lost opportunities.
  • Run early qualification to understand fit, priorities, stakeholders, timing, and the decision process.
  • Deliver clear, actionable handoffs that prepare the AE to advance the opportunity.
  • Coordinate closely with account teams before outreach to prevent duplication or account fatigue.
  • Test new approaches- including events, gifting, partner content, and account-specific assets- and share what the market is telling us.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and measure success through qualified pipeline, opportunity progression, reactivation, and conversion quality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What makes this role different

Enterprise accounts require more depth, patience, and judgment than a traditional volume-based SDR motion. You’ll work fewer accounts more intentionally, navigate larger buying groups, and collaborate closely with the broader account team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English is required for all roles; additionally, a native or bilingual level of proficiency in a second European language is appreciated.
  • A relationship builder who is motivated by creating and advancing real opportunities.
  • Strong business curiosity and the ability to quickly understand a prospect’s situation.
  • Excellent written communication and confidence engaging prospects by phone.
  • Strong fluency with AI tooling.
  • Sound judgment around account prioritisation, personalisation, and stakeholder strategy.
  • Ruthless time management and the ability to operate through ambiguity.
  • A collaborative approach to working with AEs and cross-functional partners.
  • Comfort using data and performance signals to improve your approach.
  • Strong CRM discipline and ownership of your work.
  • Shopify product knowledge or the ability to build it quickly across our platform, Shop Pay, POS, and B2B capabilities.

This is life-defining work that directly impacts people’s lives as much as it transforms your own. This is putting the power of the few in the hands of the many, is a future with more voices rather than fewer, and is creating more choices instead of an elite option.

About You

Moving at our pace brings a lot of change, complexity, and ambiguity—and a little bit of chaos. Shopifolk thrive on that and are comfortable being uncomfortable. That means Shopify is not the right place for everyone.

Before you apply, consider if you can:

  • Care deeply about what you do and about making commerce better for everyone
  • Excel by seeking professional and personal hypergrowth
  • Keep up with an unrelenting pace (the week, not the quarter)
  • Be resilient and resourceful in face of ambiguity and thrive on (rather than endure) change
  • Bring critical thought and opinion
  • Put AI agents and tools to work on the tasks they're built for, and focus on the work only humans can do
  • Embrace differences and disagreement to get shit done and move forward
  • Work digital-first for your daily work

We may use AI-enabled tools to screen, select, and assess applications. All AI outputs are reviewed and validated by our recruitment team.
