Client: Sales & Recruitment Consultancy | SaaS & Tech Start-ups
Most people don't plan a career in sales recruitment. But those who find it? They can build seriously rewarding careers.
- π° Earn strong money early
- π Progress quickly
- π€ Build relationships with ambitious founders and senior professionals
- π Get under the skin of some of the most exciting start-ups in the market
The Opportunity
Summit Rec2Rec has partnered with a high-performing Sales & Recruitment Consultancy that works with SaaS start-ups to help them build and scale their sales teams. Think CleanTech π±, HealthTech π©Ί, SportTech π and Tech for Good π; ambitious, fast-growing businesses with big ideas and even bigger revenue targets.
You'll work behind the scenes to identify and engage the talent that helps these businesses grow, partnering with founders and recruitment specialists to find the people who can make a real commercial impact.
This isn't a traditional, run-of-the-mill recruitment role. It's an opportunity to bring your existing sales skills into a fast-paced, commercially driven environment where curiosity, confidence and the ability to connect with people really matter.
The Role
This is your chance to fast-track your career into one of the most commercially rewarding areas of recruitment: SaaS and technology talent search. You'll identify and engage Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product and Engineering professionals for some of the most exciting technology start-ups in the market.
And here's the difference...
-
π Your focus is search, sourcing and candidate engagement.
-
That means no starting from scratch trying to win clients through cold business development. Instead, you'll work on live recruitment mandates, mapping markets, headhunting talent and building pipelines of exceptional professionals across the go-to-market and product functions of high-growth SaaS businesses. You'll use your sales instincts to spark conversations, build relationships and turn potential candidates into genuine opportunities.
-
π If you enjoy speaking to people, thrive on targets and love the buzz of turning a conversation into a result, this could be right up your street.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your Personality Matters
- π High energy This business moves fast, and the people in it move faster. You bring energy into a room, not out of it. You enjoy conversations, thrive on the phone and come alive around people. If you're naturally outgoing and love a fast-paced environment, you'll feel at home here.
- π§ Humble, but with a big ego You back yourself. You want to be the best at what you do, and you're hungry to prove yourself. But you don't need to shout about it. Arrogance won't get you far here; quiet confidence, coachability and a genuine desire to improve will.
- π Genuinely curious You ask the questions others don't think to ask. You want to understand why people make decisions, what makes a business tick and what's happening in the market. You're interested in people, switched on to what's going on around you and always looking to learn β not because someone tells you to, but because it's in your nature.
- π Driven by results You enjoy having goals to work towards and seeing the results of your effort. You understand that consistency matters, setbacks are part of the process and success comes from keeping your standards high.
- π¬ A natural communicator You can build rapport, hold your own in a conversation and adapt your approach to different personalities. You don't need to know everything from day one, but you do need the confidence to engage, ask questions and learn quickly.
