Ideal for an ambitious SDR seeking career progression, this position offers the chance to move beyond SMB and mid-market prospecting and develop experience engaging with larger, more complex enterprise organisations. The role will enable the successful candidate to expand their strategic prospecting capabilities, build enterprise sales expertise, and enhance their long-term career prospects.
The Role
As an SDR, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities and building pipeline for our sales team. You'll engage with prospects through inbound lead qualification, outbound prospecting and strategic account-based initiatives, helping organisations discover how Esker's automation solutions can transform their business processes.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing and Channel Partners, you'll identify customer challenges, qualify opportunities and secure meetings for our Business Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound marketing-generated leads.
- Generate new business opportunities through phone, email, LinkedIn and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Research organisations and key decision-makers within target accounts.
- Execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies to engage strategic prospects.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand business challenges and project drivers.
- Maintain accurate records and activity tracking within Salesforce and sales engagement platforms.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing and Solution Consulting teams to maximise pipeline generation.
About You
Essential
- Previous experience in SDR, BDR, Inside Sales, Telesales or Business Development.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident engaging with senior business stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, resilient and target-driven.
- Experience using CRM systems.

Desirable
- SaaS, software or technology sales experience.
- Experience using Salesforce, SalesLoft and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Understanding of finance, procurement or business process automation solutions.
- Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM).
