About BlueCat

We're BlueCat—a Great Place to Work for good reason. Our team solves critical network challenges for some of the world's largest organizations. In simple terms, we manage the systems that keep networks running smoothly, securely, and reliably—the backbone infrastructure that powers digital transformation for enterprises globally. Our Intelligent Network Operations platform delivers and enables AI-driven agentic ops at scale, automating and simplifying how companies manage, secure, and optimize their networks.

But what makes us different is how we work: we believe great work happens in an environment where you're trusted, heard, and supported. With teams globally, we're building a workplace culture that values collaboration and integrity as much as innovation. If you're looking to advance your career with a company that invests in its people, this is it.

Role Overview

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will drive pipeline generation within a defined geographic territory that includes the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). You will engage prospects in German and English.

This is a quality-driven role. You will engage inbound interest, run strategic outbound outreach, lead thoughtful discovery conversations, and build well-qualified opportunities that are positioned to advance. You will work closely with Account Executives to ensure early-stage alignment and momentum.

Once an opportunity is created, the Account Executive takes ownership. You stay engaged to support momentum and help re-engage customers when progress stalls. Success is measured by opportunity progression and pipeline impact, not activity volume.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new pipeline across your assigned territory, including DACH
  • Engage inbound leads and run outbound outreach, prioritizing by strategic fit and potential impact
  • Lead discovery conversations in German and English with technical leaders (Infrastructure, Network, Security) and senior decision makers (Director, VP, and C-level where appropriate)
  • Uncover business priorities, operational challenges, and buying dynamics
  • Create well-qualified opportunities backed by defined business or technical drivers, identified decision-makers, timeline signals, and a clear next step
  • Hand off to the aligned Account Executive with strong context and documentation
  • Keep thorough, actionable notes in Salesforce, including discovery insights and agreed next steps
  • Monitor opportunity momentum and lead re-engagement when it stalls
  • Contribute to conversion rates and pipeline health in your region

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
