Sales Development Representative

Manchester (Hybrid)

£28,000 - £30,000 + OTE

We're recruiting on behalf of an exciting and fast-growing client looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their Manchester team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their sales career who is eager to learn, develop commercial skills, and progress within a supportive and ambitious environment.

The Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll play a key role in driving business growth by identifying and engaging potential customers. Working closely with the wider sales team, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building a strong pipeline of prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research prospective clients
  • Reach out to potential customers via phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels
  • Qualify leads and understand customer needs
  • Book meetings and demonstrations for the senior sales team
  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential customers
  • Achieve individual activity and performance targets
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and sales colleagues to support growth initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence speaking with people and asking questions
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivation and resilience
  • A genuine interest in sales, business development, or technology
  • Previous customer-facing, retail, hospitality, or sales experience is beneficial but not essential
