Working across marine, defence, and industrial sectors, the Sales Development Representative will play a key role in supporting business growth and developing new customer opportunities for advanced energy storage technologies.

Working closely with senior commercial stakeholders, you will help build a strong sales pipeline, develop customer relationships, and support opportunities through the sales process, while gaining exposure to a range of innovative engineering applications and international markets.

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities across marine, defence, and industrial sectors.
  • Developing relationships with prospective customers through email, telephone, networking, and industry events.
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
  • Supporting opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement through to proposal development.
  • Assisting with the management and growth of existing customer accounts.
  • Attending client meetings, international trade shows, and industry events.
  • Supporting the preparation of proposals, presentations, and commercial materials.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities using CRM systems.

The Sales Development Representative will have:

  • Experience within a Sales Development Representative, Business Development, Sales, or Account Support role.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience engaging with a range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
