Job Description – Lead Generation & Market Intelligence Lead

Reporting to: Sales Director

Location: Eynsham, Oxford (OX29 4TT) / WFH

Company Overview

European Electronique is a leading UK systems integrator with over 30 years’ experience delivering secure technology platforms across Hybrid IT, Cyber Security, and Networking Infrastructure. We are a trusted partner to public sector organisations and educational institutions, recognised for our technical expertise, customer focus, and long-term relationships.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Lead Generation & Market Intelligence Lead to own and develop our lead generation programme within the Sales team.

This role sits at the centre of Sales, Marketing, and Leadership, acting as the first point of contact for prospective customers and ensuring a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities supported by data-led market insight. You will build on established lead generation and market intelligence capabilities, with the autonomy to refine approach, improve effectiveness, and shape ongoing direction.

The role is split into two core objectives:

  • Lead Generation & Database Management
  • Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification

1. Lead Generation & Database Management

A lead generation structure is already in place, including customer prospect lists and contact databases. You will take ownership of these assets, ensuring they remain accurate, relevant, and commercially effective.

You will act as the initial engagement point for prospective customers, qualifying interest and requirements before passing opportunities to the Business Development Managers for progression.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
