Sales Development Representative (ISR/SDR)

Clipeum IT Group | Norwich, Norfolk (office, hybrid or remote for the right person) | Full time
£35,000 basic + £10,000 commission (£45,000 OTE), with potential to earn more based on performance.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys picking up the phone, starting conversations and getting the right people into a room with us. If that's you, read on.

Who we are

Clipeum IT is a UK managed IT and cybersecurity group, made up of Onyx IT, REACT Computer Partnership and CRIBB Cyber Security. We're a team of around 35 people supporting businesses from 10 to 500 employees right across the UK, with a real specialism in the defence sector and its supply chain.

We run our own dedicated SOC, we're a Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus Certification Body, and we've just been accredited as a Defence Cyber Certification (DCC) Level 0 Certification Body. For the second year running we've been named a finalist in the Advanced Cybersecurity category at the MSP Titans of the Industry Awards, and we're the only UK business on that list both years.

We're growing, and this is a brand new role created to drive that growth.

The role

You'll be the engine behind our new business pipeline, starting conversations with UK businesses that need better IT and security, qualifying them properly and booking meetings.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This isn't cold calling from a phone book. You'll be working warm signals every day alongside your own outbound activity.

Day to day, you'll be:

  • Following up quickly and personally with businesses engaging with our website, email campaigns and LinkedIn outreach
  • Running your own outbound calling and prospecting into UK businesses that fit our ideal customer profile
  • Qualifying opportunities properly and booking meetings with decision makers
  • Keeping your pipeline and activity accurately recorded in our CRM
  • Feeding back on what's landing with prospects so we can keep sharpening our messaging

Cybersecurity, co-managed IT, Microsoft 365, AI and defence cyber compliance all give you plenty of reasons to call.

You'll report directly to our Group Sales Director, who'll be your manager, peer and teammate. You'll work side by side, not at arm's length.

What we're looking for

We care more about attitude than a perfect CV. We're looking for someone who is:

  • Resilient, self-motivated and genuinely enjoys the chase
  • Organised, with the discipline to keep a busy pipeline moving
  • Happy being measured on meetings booked, because that's what this role is about

Experience in a B2B outbound role is a big plus, and time spent in IT, MSP or cybersecurity sales even more so, but you don't need to be technical. We'll teach you the services; we can't teach curiosity or drive.

  • 28 days holiday
  • Pension after successful completion of probation

  • Office, hybrid or remote working for the right person
  • Proper training on our services and the cyber and defence landscape
