Techary Redefines Technology Procurement

Techary redefines the way customers procure, implement, and support their organisations' technology, providing an innovative alternative to the traditional Managed Service Provider (MSP) / Value-Added Reseller (VAR) approach.

Our concept, “Technology, done differently”, embodies our belief that the way our customers consume and utilize technology should innovate at the same pace as the technology itself.

Our customers range from small start-ups to global enterprises. From designing, deploying and managing infrastructure stacks within low-latency financial trading environments, to relocating the headquarters of a global fintech firm, our operations span multiple markets, industries and geographies.

Techary have helped customers scale their operations globally, gain an advantage in financial markets, enabled mission-critical projects and, most importantly, implemented technology that delivers alpha-accelerating business transformation.

The Role

We are looking for ambitious and commercially minded Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join Techary as part of our January 2027 intake.

Techary is a fast-growing global technology business, working with customers ranging from ambitious scale-ups to some of the world’s largest financial services and enterprise organisations. With teams across the UK, US, Europe and Asia, we are continuing to invest in our sales function as we scale globally.

As an SDR, you will be at the front end of that growth, focused on identifying new opportunities, building relationships and opening doors into large enterprise organisations.

You will learn how to break into complex accounts, identify the people who influence technology decisions and create opportunities with organisations that may never have engaged with Techary before.

Using a combination of cold calling, email, networking and intelligent account research, you will identify target organisations, understand their technology environment and engage senior decision-makers in meaningful commercial conversations.

This is not simply about generating activity or booking meetings. We want our SDRs to understand why they are targeting an organisation, who they should be speaking to and what could create a genuine opportunity for Techary.

You do not need previous enterprise or technology sales experience. We will provide structured training, tools, coaching and hands-on exposure to help you develop. What matters most is your ambition, resilience, curiosity, coachability and confidence to start conversations with new people.

You will join alongside other SDRs as part of our January 2027 intake, developing together while building your own pipeline, target accounts and commercial experience.

For the right person, this is the starting point for a long-term career in technology sales, with a clear progression path from Sales Development Representative to Associate Account Manager and ultimately Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage prospective customers through cold calling, email, networking and events.
  • Research high-value target organisations and identify potential opportunities for Techary.
  • Build an understanding of target accounts, including their business, technology environment, key stakeholders and potential challenges.
  • Identify and engage relevant decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
  • Generate qualified new business meetings and opportunities through a thoughtful, multi-channel prospecting approach.
  • Conduct initial conversations with prospects to understand their environment, challenges and potential requirements.
  • Qualify opportunities to establish whether there is a genuine commercial fit for Techary.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Techary’s services, solutions, partners and value proposition.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and the wider sales team on target accounts, messaging and new business priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, conversations and opportunities within Salesforce.
  • Consistently work towards and exceed individual and team targets.
  • Take an active role in sales training, call coaching, roleplays and development sessions.
  • Represent Techary professionally when engaging prospective customers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You should have:

You could be a graduate starting your career, already working in an entry-level sales role, or coming from a customer-facing environment where you have developed strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Previous Sales Experience Is Beneficial, But Not Essential.

Experience with B2B sales, cold calling, outbound prospecting, CRM platforms or working towards targets would be advantageous, but ultimately we are hiring for potential, attitude and ambition.

Career Progression

The SDR role is designed as the starting point of your sales career at Techary:

Sales Development Representative → Associate Account Manager → Account Manager

You will initially focus on prospecting, opening conversations and qualifying opportunities before gaining greater exposure to discovery, customer meetings and opportunity management.

As your skills and performance develop, you will have the opportunity to progress into an Associate Account Manager role and ultimately become an Account Manager, with responsibility for your own customers, pipeline and revenue.

Progression is not simply based on time served. It is based on performance, development and demonstrating that you are ready to take on the next level of responsibility.

Why Techary?

Techary is a global technology business giving you the opportunity to work across a wide variety of customers, technologies and projects.

You will learn alongside experienced salespeople and technology specialists while gaining exposure to global partners and customers ranging from growing businesses to large, complex enterprise organisations.
