Are you an ambitious SDR/BDR looking for your next move in SaaS, with a genuine opportunity to progress into an Account Executive role?
I’m currently recruiting for a rapidly growing UK SaaS business that is building a brand-new SDR hub in Newcastle, and they’re looking for driven sales professionals to join the team at an exciting stage of growth.
The Opportunity
This is not your typical high-volume, transactional telesales role.
You’ll be responsible for building relationships with senior decision-makers across UK mid-market businesses, including CFOs, Finance Directors and Finance Managers.
Your focus will be on:
- Prospecting through outbound calls
- Creating and managing email sequences
- LinkedIn and social prospecting
- Running discovery conversations and identifying genuine business pain
- Qualifying and booking high-quality meetings for Account Executives
- Working closely with AEs and Solutions Consultants
- Managing your own pipeline and activity through the CRM
You'll be speaking with businesses that may have outgrown their existing finance systems, rely heavily on spreadsheets or are experiencing challenges with their current accounting software. Your role is therefore about uncovering a genuine reason for change rather than simply pushing a product.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Genuine SDR to AE progression
- Hybrid working – 3 days Newcastle / 2 days remote
- Uncapped additional earning potential
- Share scheme
- Private medical insurance
- Generous annual leave
