Sales Development Representative

Newark, Nottinghamshire (Office Based)

£30,000-£35,000 basic + Bonus of up to £15,000

Are you an ambitious sales professional looking to build your career within the fast-moving world of technology?

We're recruiting for a growing Managed Service Provider that's looking to expand its sales team with an enthusiastic Sales Development Representative. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys prospecting, opening conversations and creating opportunities, with structured training, ongoing development and genuine career progression.

Working with businesses across the UK, you'll play a key role in generating new opportunities for the commercial team, introducing organisations to a range of solutions including cloud, cyber security, connectivity and managed IT services.

What you'll be doing

  • Generating new business opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns and LinkedIn outreach
  • Researching target organisations and identifying key decision-makers
  • Qualifying prospective customers and booking meetings for the Account Management team
  • Building relationships with potential clients and creating a healthy sales pipeline
  • Working towards daily, weekly and monthly activity targets and KPIs
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and prospect information
  • Developing your knowledge of managed IT services, cloud, cyber security and connectivity solutions
  • Working closely with the wider sales team to support new business growth

What we're looking for

  • Experience in an SDR, BDR, Internal Sales, Telesales or Business Development role
  • Previous experience within an MSP, IT reseller, telecoms, SaaS or wider technology environment
  • Confidence speaking with senior decision-makers over the phone and via email
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, organised and driven to achieve targets
  • A genuine interest in building a long-term career in technology sales
