Start Your Career in Sales
Are you an ambitious self-starter who’s looking for a career where your performance directly impacts your earnings and progression? Have you recently left school, college or university? Maybe you've already shown a commercial mindset by running a small business, selling online, working in customer-facing roles, or finding creative ways to earn money.
If you're confident speaking to people, resilient when things don't go your way, and hungry to learn, we'd like to hear from you.
We're looking for high-potential individuals who want to build a thriving career in sales and develop into future sales leaders.
About Trusted Advisor
Trusted Advisor is a fast-growing fintech start-up helping people access high-quality, regulated financial advice. We help clients looking for financial advice connect and match with financial advisers through our bespoke digital platform.
Launched in 2024, we have grown rapidly and have ambitious plans to continue scaling over the next two years. We currently operate in the UK and UAE, and are taking steps to expand into the US and Canada.
We're a small, high-performance team of eight, meaning you'll have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced leadership team who have been in the industry for over 10 years. For the right person, this role can be the first step towards a long-term career in sales and leadership as Trusted Advisor continues to grow.
The Role
As a Sales Development Associate, you'll be at the front line of our client acquisition process. You'll speak to people who have expressed an interest in financial advice, understand their needs, qualify them, and match them with an appropriate financial adviser on our platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
