How will you add value to the OpenPayd journey
- Qualifying inbound leads and distributing the high-quality opportunities to the relevant team members
- Joining product demonstrations with other Sales Executives and Sales Managers and continuing to support the sales process as required
- Running weekly email campaigns to target account lists to generate leads and arrange meetings
- Qualifying and disqualifying new business opportunities, conducting conversations by phone as well as online or physical meetings
- Attending trade shows and industry events to generate new leads and opportunities for the business
- Working with Marketing to produce target prospect lists within selected SME verticals
- Delivering solution presentations/demos to potential clients together with the Sales Managers

The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Minimum of 1-3 years within the Financial Services / Payments/BAAS/Modern Treasury / SAAS industry
- Experience in qualifying and disqualifying new business opportunities, conducting conversations by phone as well as online or physical meetings and events
- Experience in delivering solution presentations/demos to potential clients together with the Sales Managers
- Proven track record of successful full sales cycle execution and delivering against revenue targets
- Experience of successfully managing sales engagements/handling 1st stage of sales cycle
- Understanding of the payments ecosystem, trends, and innovative payments solutions
- Ability to handle objections and present the product and business in the best way
- A passion for the industry; an ongoing interest in the development of the industry and, most importantly, drive to deliver
- Experience using Salesforce, working in a start-up or FinTech company are all beneficial
- Ability to think creatively about how best to engage new customers
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills with the ability to explain issues clearly and simply, both orally and in writing
- Adept at facilitating discussions to resolve client objections
- Able to demonstrate a high degree of passion and energy whilst maintaining a positive outlook
