About Us

SaleCycle helps consumer brands make better use of the data and signals generated across their digital customer journeys. Our platform brings together customer identity, first-party and behavioural data, product information and relevant context to help brands understand and engage their customers more effectively, improving their onsite experience and reconnecting with them through offsite channels. Ultimately, we sell commercial outcomes: better conversion, more relevant customer engagement and more value from the traffic and customers brands already have.

What We Do

We provide a full-funnel Agentic Marketing Platform, combining:

  • Real-time behavioural analytics and intent scoring
  • AI-powered search, recommendations, and agentic decisioning
  • Onsite personalisation and A/B testing
  • Cross-channel activation (email, SMS, paid media)
  • CRM/CDP integrations and first-party data orchestration
  • Retail media and monetisation capabilities

Who We Are

We are a global team of 80+ people across the UK, France, Spain, Italy, and Eastern Europe. We are profitable, growing, and operating with a clear mindset:

  • We build, not maintain
  • We prioritise outcomes over activity
  • We operate with low ego and high accountability
  • We challenge ourselves to step outside our comfort zone

Job Overview

We are hiring an SDR to generate new business opportunities with UK brands and build a consistent flow of qualified first meetings for our Account Executives. This is a high-activity outbound sales role. You will spend a significant part of every day speaking to prospects: making cold calls, opening conversations with new accounts, following up consistently and securing relevant first meetings. We are looking for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, enjoys creating opportunities from scratch and wants to develop their career in B2B sales.

What You Will Do

You will work systematically through a focused list of UK B2C and e-commerce brands, identifying the right people to speak to and creating new sales conversations.

A major part of the role is outbound calling. You will make a sustained volume of calls every working day, supported by email, LinkedIn and structured follow-up to maximise the opportunity to speak directly with prospects.

You will:

  • Prospect consistently into new UK accounts and create conversations from cold outreach.
  • Identify and engage relevant decision-makers across e-commerce, digital, marketing and customer experience.
  • Make outbound calls every day and confidently communicate why a conversation with SaleCycle could be relevant.
  • Use email and LinkedIn alongside calling to create multiple opportunities to engage.
  • Understand enough about the prospect, their business and potential challenge to establish whether there is a credible reason for a meeting.
  • Secure qualified first meetings for Account Executives and provide clear context on the conversation and opportunity.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to prioritise accounts, improve messaging, follow up prospects and learn from meeting outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate prospect, account and activity information within HubSpot.
  • Take part in regular coaching, call reviews and sales meetings designed to continuously improve your performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Preparation matters, but prospecting comes first. We want our SDRs informed enough to make outreach relevant without spending unnecessary time researching accounts instead of speaking to them.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is straightforward: consistently booking qualified first meetings for our Account Executives. You will be expected to maintain the level of outbound activity required to create those meetings, including regular cold calling, follow-up and prospect engagement.

We will look closely at:

  • The number of meaningful conversations you create with relevant prospects.
  • The number of qualified first meetings you book for Account Executives.
  • The quality of those meetings and whether they take place as planned.
  • The consistency of the outbound activity required to generate them.

Your primary objective is to create a reliable flow of good first meetings that gives our Account Executives the opportunity to progress new business conversations. Specific targets and commission arrangements will be discussed during the hiring process.

What We Are Looking For

You do not need to arrive knowing everything about SaleCycle, e-commerce, or SaaS. We can teach you the proposition. What is much harder to teach is the attitude required to succeed in outbound sales.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Confidence - you are comfortable starting conversations with people you have never spoken to before.
  • Energy - you enjoy working at pace and creating opportunities rather than waiting for them.
  • Resilience - rejection does not stop you from making the next call.
  • Discipline - you can maintain consistent activity, follow up properly and manage your pipeline of prospects.
  • Curiosity - you want to understand businesses, customers and what makes a good commercial conversation.
  • Coachability - you actively seek feedback and apply it to improve your performance.
  • Ambition - you want to develop your sales skills and build a career in commercial roles.

Helpful, But Not Required

  • Previous experience in an SDR, business development, telesales or customer-facing sales role would be useful but is not essential.
  • Experience of e-commerce, SaaS, HubSpot or sales prospecting tools would also be advantageous.
  • Fluency in French, Italian or Spanish alongside English would be a valuable additional skill, but is not a requirement for the role.
  • We welcome people at different stages of their career who can demonstrate the aptitude, attitude and motivation to succeed in outbound sales.
