About Alignify
Alignify is a smart recruitment platform that matches candidates with opportunities aligned with their skills, goals, and preferences. By prioritising quality over quantity, we help candidates find better roles with fewer applications while enabling employers to connect with highly relevant talent. Our mission is to create a faster, more transparent, and more effective recruitment experience for everyone involved.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an exceptionally focused and driven Sales Development Representative to support Alignify’s continued growth. This is a high-activity, phone-based role. Your primary responsibility will be to contact prospective employers, introduce Alignify, and secure qualified meetings for the wider sales team.
Success will require energy, discipline, and consistency. You will need to be comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls each day, engaging new people, and remaining motivated when conversations do not lead to an immediate opportunity.
The role offers considerable earning potential for someone who performs consistently, works autonomously, and is motivated by a clear connection between their results and remuneration.
Earnings
Our remuneration structure is deliberately simple and performance-focused:
- £40 daily base
- £50 for every qualified meeting
- Uncapped commission

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Our previous results indicate that a strong and consistent Sales Development Representative can secure approximately four qualified meetings per day:
- 4 meetings × £50 = £200 commission
- £200 commission + £40 daily base = £240 per day
At £240 per day across a five-day working week, this represents potential annualised earnings of approximately £62,400.
As commission is uncapped, an individual who consistently exceeds four qualified meetings per day has the potential to earn considerably more.
These figures illustrate the potential earnings available and are not guaranteed. Actual earnings will depend on individual performance.
