Ready to make your mark on a growing new-business function? RVT is looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our New Business team and play a key role in the growth of RVT360.
This isn't a role where success is measured simply by how many calls you make. We're looking for someone who knows how to create high-quality conversations, understand a prospect's business challenges and turn those conversations into genuinely qualified appointments.
You'll work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams, targeting the right organisations and decision-makers through a mix of telephone, email and LinkedIn outreach.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively prospecting into targeted B2B accounts
- Starting meaningful conversations with decision-makers and influencers
- Understanding prospects' challenges and identifying genuine opportunities
- Booking and qualifying RVT360 assessment appointments
- Following up on marketing-generated leads and engagement
- Working closely with Marketing on campaigns, messaging and target markets
- Keeping accurate prospect and appointment information within HubSpot
- Sharing market feedback to help us continually improve our approach
- Helping build a scalable and repeatable new-business prospecting model

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for
- You'll already have experience in a B2B SDR, Business Development or similar outbound role, with a track record of booking qualified meetings.
- You'll be confident picking up the phone and speaking to new prospects, but importantly, you'll know that great business development is about quality, curiosity and relevance - not just call volume.
- You'll also bring strong communication and qualification skills, good commercial judgement and the resilience needed to succeed in outbound new business.
- Experience within technology, IT services, managed services or a similar B2B environment would be a real advantage, as would experience using HubSpot.
