About the opportunity
Via is partnering with a global cybersecurity software business looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative to generate new opportunities across its Mid-Market and Enterprise customer base.
This is an outbound-focused B2B SaaS sales role where you'll research target accounts, identify the right decision-makers and generate qualified opportunities through proactive prospecting.
You'll be the first point of contact for many prospective customers, developing a strong understanding of their challenges and introducing relevant security software solutions before working alongside Account Executives to progress opportunities.

You'll be joining a remote, international sales organisation with the opportunity to develop your expertise across cybersecurity, SaaS and enterprise technology sales.

What you'll be doing

  • Generate new Mid-Market and Enterprise sales opportunities through outbound prospecting
  • Research target accounts and identify relevant decision-makers
  • Prospect through cold calling, email, LinkedIn and other channels
  • Build and maintain a healthy outbound pipeline
  • Engage prospects within complex B2B organisations
  • Understand potential customers' challenges and identify relevant solutions
  • Communicate technical product information clearly and confidently
  • Qualify prospects before progressing opportunities to Account Executives
  • Work closely with Account Executives throughout the buying process
  • Follow structured sales processes and prospecting playbooks
  • Maintain consistent outreach and follow-up with prospects
  • Keep CRM and pipeline information accurate and up to date
  • Use prospecting and sales engagement technology to improve targeting and outreach
  • Work towards clear activity, pipeline and opportunity-generation targets
  • Share best practices and learn from an international sales team

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of outbound SDR or BDR experience
  • Strong experience within B2B SaaS or technology sales
  • Proven experience generating opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting
  • Experience targeting Mid-Market or Enterprise organisations
  • Confidence with cold calling and cold outreach
  • Strong written prospecting skills
  • Experience engaging senior business or technology stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and clearly communicate technical products
  • Experience using CRM or sales engagement platforms such as HubSpot, Outreach or similar
  • Experience with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo or similar
  • Strong qualification and discovery skills
  • Good organisation and pipeline management
  • Persistence and resilience in an outbound sales environment
  • Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working towards targets
  • Comfortable working independently within a fully remote team

Previous cybersecurity experience would be valuable but isn't essential. Strong SDRs from other B2B SaaS or technology businesses are encouraged to apply.
A degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
