This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Development Representative based in United Kingdom.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of a rapidly growing global B2B marketplace, creating the pipeline that fuels the sales organization. You will combine inbound lead conversion with proactive outbound prospecting to identify high-potential retail businesses and turn them into qualified sales opportunities. Your primary goal will be to qualify prospects efficiently and consistently and secure high-quality product demonstrations for Account Executives. This is a high-velocity, activity-driven role where disciplined execution and strong communication directly influence revenue growth. You will use phone, email, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn to engage prospects across multiple channels. Working in a collaborative, globally distributed team, you will have the opportunity to develop your sales skills while making a measurable impact in a fast-scaling business.
Accountabilities
- Respond rapidly to inbound leads within agreed service-level expectations and convert qualified prospects into confirmed product demonstrations.
- Build and execute structured outbound prospecting sequences targeting relevant retail businesses, combining personalization with the pace required for high-volume outreach.
- Conduct effective lead qualification by assessing buyer profile, purchasing volume, commercial intent, timeline, and overall fit.
- Identify low-potential opportunities quickly and prioritize time toward prospects with the strongest likelihood of progressing.
- Book, confirm, and protect demonstrations for Account Executives, using reminders and pre-demo engagement to minimize no-shows.
- Conduct consistent multichannel outreach through phone, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
- Maintain accurate and complete CRM records, ensuring every interaction is logged, leads are correctly dispositioned, and pipeline information remains reliable.
- Monitor outreach and conversion performance and use data to continuously improve prospecting effectiveness.
- Share market feedback with the wider sales team, including common objections, successful messaging, prospect insights, and high-converting customer segments.
- Work closely with Account Executives to ensure qualified opportunities are handed over with the necessary context for a successful sales conversation.

Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a SaaS, technology, or similar sales development role, ideally within a transactional, high-volume sales environment.
- Experience working with short sales cycles, high activity targets, structured outreach cadences, and measurable weekly performance goals.
- Excellent phone communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in writing.
- Comfortable managing 60–80+ meaningful prospect interactions per day while maintaining quality and professionalism.
- Strong process discipline and experience working consistently with CRM systems, sales cadences, activity tracking, and lead management.
- Proven ability to qualify prospects efficiently and distinguish genuine commercial opportunities from low-intent leads.
- Resilient and persistent approach to sales, with the ability to handle rejection constructively and maintain energy and focus throughout the sales cycle.
- Highly coachable mindset, with an openness to feedback and a willingness to continuously refine sales techniques and messaging.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of prospects without losing attention to detail.
- Native or professional proficiency in English and Italian is required.
- Jewellery or gemstone industry experience is not required; commercial drive, discipline, curiosity, and a strong work ethic are more important.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment with a strong focus on ownership and measurable outcomes.
