About Us
Food waste is one of the single largest drivers of climate change, yet millions of tons of high-quality, edible food is discarded every day. No More Waste Technologies is a social impact startup on a mission to fight food waste and hunger with technology. Our marketplace platform, SaveGoodFood, connects surplus food from merchants with charities, food banks, and individuals.
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or a driven University student studying a Business or Marketing degree interested in a high-impact internship, who is passionate about sustainability and wants to use their B2B sales expertise to drive real environmental impact. As a sales contributor, you will shape our initial market entry strategy, build our outbound sales engine, and open doors with key prospective partners in the food industry (supermarkets, distributors, food producers, and hospitality operators).
This is a volunteer position ideal for a sales professional or intern looking to contribute high-impact skills to a climate mission, expand their portfolio, or join an early venture prior to our upcoming funding round.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Strategy & Execution: Design and execute multi-channel B2B outreach campaigns (LinkedIn, email, phone introductions) targeting key stakeholders in the food supply chain.
- Pipeline Creation: Identify, research, and qualify target accounts (e.g., sustainability leads, operations directors, supply chain managers) who handle edible surplus food.
- Founder Meetings: Secure and book initial qualified discovery calls and product demos for the founding team.
- Playbook & messaging: Leverage your past sales experience to refine our value proposition, build cold-outreach templates, and create objection-handling playbooks tailored to commercial food operators.
- Market Insights: Gather feedback directly from prospects to help the founders refine product-market fit, pricing models, and operational workflows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
