Sales Development Representative | B2B Payments (Fintech) | London (Hybrid working)
The Opportunity:
We are partnering with an established B2B payments business on the appointment of a Sales Development Representative. The company provides corporate clients with access to international payment and banking infrastructure, along with the compliance and onboarding support that makes it usable at scale. It is a well-backed, growing business investing in its commercial function, and this role sits at the front of that.
You will be the first commercial touchpoint for prospective clients, and the person responsible for turning research and data into qualified pipeline for the senior sales team.
The Role:
- Run targeted outbound activity across calls, email and LinkedIn to generate qualified meetings
- Own a monthly number for qualified opportunities and activity, with autonomy over how you hit it
- Qualify inbound and outbound prospects through initial discovery against a clearly defined ICP
- Build, test and refine outbound sequences in the sales engagement platform to improve conversion
- Develop real depth in your assigned vertical, mapping accounts, decision-makers and the payment problems they are trying to solve
- Build accurate prospect lists using modern research and sales intelligence tools
- Keep CRM data clean and let the numbers drive strategy

About You:
- Proven outbound SDR or BDR experience, ideally from fintech, SaaS or financial services
- Resilient and self-motivated, with a track record of breaking into larger accounts
- Process-minded and comfortable with modern sales tooling and sequencing
- Able to explain commercially complex products in simple, persuasive terms
- Confident using AI-assisted prospecting and outreach tools
- Strong written and verbal communication, credible with senior stakeholders

Package
- £40,000 to £50,000 base salary with a competitive bonus structure
