Role Description The Sales Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in London. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, primarily through outbound calls, emails, and digital outreach to potential customers in the biotechnology and bioprocessing sectors. The individual will nurture leads, schedule and coordinate meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team, and maintain accurate records of activities and prospects in the CRM system.

Day-to-day work includes:

The role collaborates closely with sales and technical teams to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities and supports continuous improvement of outreach strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with a track record of building and managing a robust sales pipeline.
- Demonstrated Sales and Business Development capabilities, including opportunity qualification and relationship building.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with biotechnology or bioprocessing products and systems, or a strong motivation to learn technical product portfolios.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales tools to manage leads, track interactions, and report on performance metrics.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as life sciences, engineering, business, or a related discipline), or equivalent practical experience.
- Eligibility to work on-site in London and willingness to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
