SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Central Belt, Scotland | Office & Field-based

£30,000 + Double Bonus | OTE Uncapped

The Opportunity

We're looking for hungry, driven Sales Development Representatives to join a young, energetic commercial team and help fuel the next chapter of our growth. Reporting into the Sales Manager, you'll be the engine of pipeline generation, prospecting, qualifying and opening doors across a large UK territory.

This is a role for someone who wants to make money, build a career in technical B2B sales, and grow with a business that is genuinely going places. You'll be supported by an established sales team, a rich internal data set to work through, and a marketing function to back your outreach.

About Us

We're a specialist structural steel fabricator with over 40 years in the industry, delivering high-specification steelwork across some of the most demanding sectors in the UK: Oil & Gas, Nuclear Power, Bridges & Infrastructure, Transport & Rail, Marine & Renewables, and High Security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Outreach: Proactively identify and engage target accounts across construction, infrastructure, energy and industrial sectors via phone, email, LinkedIn and in-person visits
  • Territory Development: Own a defined geographical patch, systematically working through existing data and building new contact networks
  • Pipeline Generation: Qualify inbound and outbound leads, booking discovery meetings and site visits for senior sales colleagues
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all activity, pipeline status and follow-ups; contribute to weekly sales reviews
  • Market Intelligence: Identify upcoming projects, tender opportunities and new sector targets, feeding insight to the wider team
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Managers and the marketing team to align messaging and campaign activity
  • Events & Networking: Represent the business at trade events, client site visits and industry networking opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Culture & Environment

This is a business in transition, scaling fast, investing in its people and building out its commercial capability. You'll join a tight-knit sales team with a collaborative, competitive and fun environment. Office days are focused on data and pipeline development; field days are about getting in front of the right people.
