Business Development Representative
Full-time | Loxa | Russell Square, London (Office-based)
£32k base + £10k variable bonus + equity (subject to criteria)
About Loxa
Loxa is on a mission to protect all retail customers, everywhere. We build and operate modern insurance products that are embedded into retail journeys, helping merchants protect their customers before, during and after the sale.
After integrating 60+ retailers over our first two years, we are scaling into new product categories and distribution models. As we grow, building a consistent, high-quality pipeline of new retail partners becomes mission-critical.
We are now hiring a Business Development Representative to sit at the very front of Loxa’s commercial engine, opening doors with retailers and brands across the UK.
The Opportunity
This is a high-energy, high-ownership role at the top of Loxa’s sales funnel. You will be the first voice prospects hear and the first impression they get of Loxa – and you’ll treat that responsibility seriously.
Your days will be built around volume and quality in equal measure: 100+ cold calls a day, sharp and tailored outreach, and creative social selling across LinkedIn and beyond. You’ll learn the embedded insurance market inside out, understand what makes retailers tick, and book qualified meetings that turn into long-term partnerships.
You’ll work closely with the founders and partnership leads, with a clear path to growing into a full-cycle sales role as you prove yourself. This role suits someone hungry, resilient and endlessly curious – the kind of person who hears “no” nine times and dials the tenth with the same enthusiasm as the first.
What You’ll Do
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
