Job brief
As the Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and remotely managing leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that our company’s sales goals are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Pro-actively approach customers in category xyz remotely (as per Armacell customer categorisation model)
- Meet or exceed targeted sales growth for assigned customers
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company
- Build relationships and credibility within customer organizations.
- Set appointments for external sales reps and follow up on leads
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
- Use Salesforce.com to be a direct contact for leads filtered in from the website and through customer communication
- Maintain and expand database of prospects
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
- Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.
- Assist with World Class Sales and Marketing pillar.
- Developing project and lead pipelines

Key Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or customer service
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
