I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

More specifically, these are the attributes that we are seeking:
- Enterprise sales experience in consulting and professional services is required.
- High achievers with a track record of meeting/exceeding annual quotas.
- Ability to build and grow senior executive relationships with prospects and clients; relationship-oriented and going above and beyond for our clients is a must.—if they win, you win.
- Ability to build strong relationships with technology partner account executives and sales engineers and to use our technical experts at the right times.
- Ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity through initiative, strategic thought, and grit.

We operate in a market where most competitors are 'racing to the bottom' to be the cheapest option, but we don't believe that is an effective strategy, nor do we see that it creates the right outcomes for organizations. We are intentional and specific with our value proposition and expect everyone who represents our brand to be able to articulate it effectively.
