Sales Director
Manchester | £100,000–£120,000 + uncapped OTE + share incentive
We’re working with an established, investment-backed technology business looking for a Sales Director to lead its next phase of commercial growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for an established sales function, with a big focus on driving new business, developing the team and building a more proactive outbound culture.
You’ll work closely with the CEO to shape the wider sales strategy, but this isn’t a role for someone who wants to operate purely at board level. You’ll still be close to customers, opportunities and the day-to-day performance of the team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We’re looking for someone with a strong background selling physical technology, IT hardware or technology infrastructure into B2B customers.
You’ll need to have operated at senior sales leadership level, managed established teams and have a strong track record of winning new business. An existing network across the IT channel, hardware, infrastructure or wider technology market will be important.
This role won’t suit someone whose experience has been predominantly SaaS or software sales.
