SALES DIRECTOR - UK DRINKS

We’ve partnered with one of the UK’s most respected independent brewers on a search for a Sales Director. They’ve been doing things their own way since the late 1970s, independent, quality-led and brewing great beer long before “craft beer” became a thing.

Fast forward nearly 50 years and they’re producing 8m+ pints of award-winning beer a year, have 135 pubs and inns across the South West, and plenty of SIBA and World Beer Awards silverware to show for it. Now they’re looking for someone to help take the next step.

The role

  • Grow the off-trade business
  • Develop the export opportunity
  • Build out third-party packaging partnerships
  • Own pricing, margin, forecasting and the numbers behind the growth
  • Lead and develop an already strong free trade team
  • Work closely with an MD who’ll give you the space to actually run with it

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
