Sales Director

City of London | £90,000 Base | Uncapped Commission | OTE £200,000–£350,000 | 5 Days in Office

We’re partnering with a successful specialist consultancy to appoint a Sales Director at the most senior level of their commercial team.

Internally titled Commercial Partner, this is a senior individual contributor role for someone with a serious track record in new business. You’ll be joining an ambitious, high-performance sales environment where strong results are rewarded accordingly, with a £90,000 base, completely uncapped commission and realistic OTE of £200,000–£350,000.

They’re looking for someone who has already proved they can consistently win significant business, develop relationships with senior decision-makers and build a strong pipeline through their own activity and network. Experience within the firm’s specialist market is highly sought after and would be a significant advantage.

This isn’t a role for someone who needs an established book of leads handed to them. You’ll have the credibility, network and commercial instinct to create opportunities, open doors and take ownership of the full sales process.

The Role

  • Generate and win significant new business, taking ownership of the full sales cycle.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with Founders, CEOs, CFOs, Finance Directors and other senior decision-makers.
  • Create opportunities through your own network, referrals, partnerships, events and targeted business development.
  • Lead senior commercial conversations, understanding each client’s business and identifying where the firm can add value.
  • Negotiate and close complex, high-value opportunities.
  • Develop long-term client relationships that generate repeat and additional business.
  • Work closely with the wider commercial and specialist teams throughout the sales process.
  • Represent the business confidently in the market and continue developing your own network and profile.
  • Contribute commercial insight and market intelligence to the continued growth of the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
