Thinkfolio is an established, global fintech business, providing front-office decision infrastructure – portfolio construction, trading and order management, investment compliance, and cash & FX – to asset managers and, asset owners around the world. Trusted by clients managing over $6.7 trillion in assets, with more than 2,500 users globally, we are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Sales Account Manager to grow revenue from our existing client base and win new client relationships internationally.
This is a blended “hunter-farmer” role, combining new business development with hands-on account management. It is ideal for someone who ideally has direct experience of the investment management technology space, a solid working knowledge of the front office (portfolio management, trading/OMS and compliance), and the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly and persuasively to both new prospects and long-standing clients.
Job Purpose
Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and wider commercial function, you will be responsible for two connected objectives: winning new client logos, and growing and protecting revenue within our existing client base through renewals, cross-sell and up-sell.
You will support the full client lifecycle, from prospecting, presentations and product demonstrations through to onboarding, relationship development and account growth. You will also work with internal product and technical teams to ensure that client requirements are understood and addressed effectively.
Hybrid working model, 2 days in the London office - Wednesday & Friday is a must.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
