Sales Director – Ipswich – Market Leading Manufacturer
We are currently recruiting for a market leading manufacturer in one of the biggest growth sectors across the UK. Our client is a marketing leading manufacturer within the construction industry who are part of a global organisation who deal with multi-million pound projects across the UK. The business has experienced a huge amount of growth in the last few years, are constantly expanding and looking for a Sales Director to lead the commercial part of the business.
Role:
- Take overall responsibility for sales performance, targets, forecasts and commercial reporting
- Develop and implement sales and commercial strategies designed to increase revenue, profitability and market share
- Drive proactive prospecting, lead generation, networking and business development activity to identify and engage new customers
- Lead sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Lead, manage, mentor and develop the commercial and sales teams, creating a high-performance culture and supporting individuals to achieve their objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers
- Oversee the end-to-end management of tenders and contracts, ensuring submissions are accurate, commercially sound and delivered on time

Candidate:
- Experience in a senior commercial role leading teams
- Someone who understands a manufacturing process or experience in the construction/building materials industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- The ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and functions
- A strong track record of achieving and exceeding commercial and revenue objectives
- Strong commercial understanding and creating/implementing a sales strategy
- Excellent people management skills

Package:
- Basic Salary: up to £95,000 (negotiable dependant on experience)
- Bonus 30%
