The Client
Our client is an entrepreneurial, founder-led business operating across the media & events space. Due to continued expansion they are looking to appoint their first Sales Director in the business. This person will be responsible for driving the sales strategy & operations. Whilst in year one this person will be the biggest individual contributor there are clear plans and investment to scale the business to a future event.
Package will include a six figure basic salary, competitive commission structure and an opportunity to benefit from share incentive scheme.
The Role
This is a hands-on role where success is driven by personal sales output alongside the leadership, motivation and development of a small team. The successful candidate will lead from the front, spending the majority of their time actively selling, alongside refining and executing the strategy.

Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering against ambitious revenue targets across multiple streams
- Leading high-value sales across sponsorship, partnerships and premium offerings
- Executing the go-to-market sales approach
- Building senior-level relationships across target organisations
- Managing and developing a small sales team
- Collaborating closely with marketing and the wider business

Key experience and attributes:
- Proven success in senior sales roles delivering large commercial targets
- Track record of selling high-value solutions to enterprise organisations
- Experience in high-volume, high-value sales environments
- Strong individual contributor with a “lead from the front” mindset
- Ability to build compelling commercial propositions and partnerships
- Experience managing small sales teams
