Sales Director

New Town Hanover is representing a leading UK technology services provider, trusted by more than 300 organisations across sectors like health, public sector, energy, financial services, and education. From the AI and process automation that maximises efficiency, to the cloud technology and cyber security that underpins and protects everything, they deliver transformative services to their customers.

Headquartered in Scotland with further locations in the North of England, they have expanded their offering, bringing complementary automation, business applications and digital solutions expertise into the group and creating a single, integrated portfolio spanning cloud, cyber security, connectivity, data centre, business applications and digital transformation services.

As the business enters its next phase of growth, we have been retained to appoint a driven, commercially rigorous Sales Director to lead their sales team and the continued sales growth.

The Opportunity

This is a role for someone who builds momentum fast: a sales leader who offers clarity and accountability and backs their team to deliver, energised by turning a growing, newly combined portfolio into a predictable, high-performing revenue engine.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will own all sales activity across direct, strategic account and partner channels, translating commercial strategy into high-performing market execution and building a unified sales approach that maximises customer value across the Group.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
