Regional Sales Director (UK)

Salary: Negotiable dependent on track record but typically £100,000 + package.

Location: Remote – Flexible across the UK

Do you have a proven track record of selling into the UK Defence sector? Would you like to join an AI startup primed for exponential growth?

This is a tremendous opportunity to lead, develop and accelerate the sales performance at an innovative AI startup operating in the defence sector. This company is growing fast with an impressive growth strategy in place. You will target opportunities across the defence, government and military sectors. From leveraging your network, creating partner alliances to generating long term relationships.

You will be a sales specialist with a strong track record of winning business across the defence, intelligence or military sectors in the UK. If you regularly sell into or work with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), Intelligence Services, Defence Intelligence (DI), or the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), we are keen to hear from you.

Experience required:

  • Applicants must have senior sales experience across the UK defence, intelligence, or military sectors with a track record of selling complex solutions to these sectors.
  • A strong network of contacts within the UK defence, intelligence, government or military sectors.
  • Target focused with a track record of generating new business and managing complex procurement processes.
  • A consultative approach to customer engagement with a solution focused sales methodology.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for new customer acquisition. You will be adept at engaging contacts within the UK defence, government and military sectors.
  • Manage and develop partnerships with defence primes, partners and systems integrators.
  • Formulation of sales strategies to increase revenue generation.
  • Deliver against annual sales and growth targets.
  • Implementation of a cohesive sales strategy.
  • Provide support to team members on complex bids/tenders.
  • Strategically develop new clients to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Work closely with key client stakeholders.
  • Undertake regular client meetings to fully understand their business challenges and opportunities.
