Data Centre Sales Director
Hyperscale Accounts
£110,000 - £140,000 + Bonus + Healthcare + Pension + More
An exciting senior leadership opportunity has opened for a Sales Director to lead strategic sales activity across the EMEA Hyperscale Data Centre market.
This is a high-impact role focused on developing and expanding relationships with some of the world's largest technology and Hyperscale customers. You will work closely with regional leadership and global account teams to shape account strategy, drive revenue and profitability, and identify new opportunities across the rapidly growing Data Centre sector.
This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially driven sales leader who enjoys working at executive level, building strategic partnerships and bringing complex technical solutions to major customers.
Desired Experience
- Lead sales strategy and growth across key Hyperscale Data Centre accounts throughout EMEA.
- Develop and execute strategic account and sales plans in collaboration with regional and global leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships across customer organisations, from technical and operational teams through to senior executives.
- Drive sales across a broad portfolio of Data Centre solutions, including structured cabling, physical security, electrical infrastructure, liquid cooling, networking, IoT and Pro-AV.
- Position end-to-end services covering design, project deployment, product enhancement and rack & roll.
- Identify upcoming Data Centre projects and influence specifications, solutions and procurement strategies.
- Develop strong relationships with strategic technology suppliers, vendors and alliance partners.
- Lead complex sales opportunities, proposals, presentations and customer-facing engagements.
- Forecast sales and profitability across existing and new customers and product areas.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing sales environment focused on growth, customer value and long-term relationships.

- 7+ years' professional sales experience within a relevant industry.
- Proven experience managing strategic or large-scale accounts, ideally within the Hyperscale Data Centre market.
- Strong understanding of Data Centre infrastructure, technology and the wider ecosystem.
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve ambitious commercial targets.
- Experience working with senior executives and complex customer organisations.
- Strong understanding of competitive markets, customer requirements and emerging industry trends.
- A confident leadership style with the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on with key customers and opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
