Sales Director โ€“ AdTech / Digital Advertising

๐Ÿ“ London
๐Ÿ’ฐ ยฃ70,000โ€“ยฃ80,000 base + commission

Weโ€™re partnering with an established international AdTech business that is investing heavily in its UK growth.

Theyโ€™re looking for a commercially driven Sales Director to help build their presence across the UK agency and advertiser market.

This is a hands-on new-business role.

You wonโ€™t be walking into a large inherited book of accounts, the opportunity is to open doors, create pipeline and directly generate revenue.

The product sits within the digital advertising ecosystem, combining technology, creative and innovative digital formats to help advertisers create more engaging campaigns.

The proposition requires a consultative seller who can explain something differentiated rather than simply compete on standard media inventory.

The opportunity

Youโ€™ll work closely with senior leadership to develop the UK commercial strategy and grow relationships across:

  • Major media agency groups
  • Independent agencies
  • Programmatic and digital teams
  • Direct advertisers and brands

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right โ€” and where to focus when applying.

Youโ€™ll own the sales process end-to-end โ€” identifying prospects, opening conversations, pitching, negotiating and closing โ€” while helping establish the business as a recognised player in the UK market.

What weโ€™re looking for

  • Strong relationships across UK media agencies and/or advertisers
  • Experience selling AdTech, programmatic, digital media, creative technology or innovative advertising solutions
  • Ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
  • The ability to sell consultatively to senior agency and brand stakeholders

Weโ€™re particularly interested in people coming from creative technology, programmatic, interactive advertising, digital media, attention-led solutions or other differentiated AdTech environments.

Why consider it?

The wider business and technology are already established internationally, but there is still significant white space in the UK.

That creates a genuine opportunity to build something, have significant autonomy and directly influence the commercial growth of the market โ€” with career progression as the UK operation scales.
