Are you a charismatic, commercially driven sales leader with proven experience selling high-value healthcare services directly to patients or consumers?
Compass Associates is recruiting on behalf of an established and fast-growing private healthcare organisation to appoint a Sales Director. This is a high-impact leadership appointment, taking ownership of an established sales and contact centre function and playing a pivotal role in the organisation's continued growth.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, high-energy sales leadership role with a clear focus on improving conversion, maximising revenue and getting the very best performance from an established team.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the full patient sales journey, from initial enquiry through to consultation and ultimately treatment. You will be expected to understand what drives conversion, identify where opportunities are being lost and put the right processes, KPIs and management in place to significantly improve performance.
This is a genuinely B2C consumer healthcare sales role. Experience selling directly to patients or consumers is essential. Candidates whose background is primarily B2B sales, corporate sales, healthcare partnerships or account management will not be considered.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience selling high-value private healthcare treatments, procedures or services directly to consumers, and will understand the pace, intensity and commercial focus required to convert inbound patient demand into revenue.
This is a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, so we are looking for someone who naturally brings energy, urgency and charisma to a sales team. You will need to be highly visible, commercially hungry and comfortable setting the tempo for the wider function. This is not a role for a purely strategic or desk-based sales leader — you will be expected to lead from the front, challenge performance and create a high-performing sales culture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
