Sales Director

Commcise is bringing transparency and precision to institutional investment research offering independent, cloud-based, fully-integrated commission management and research valuation solutions to the buy-side, sell-side and research providers through its COMMCISEBUY, COMMCISESELL, and COMMCISECS product suite.

With a network of thousands of buy-side, sell-side and research providers globally, Commcise’s clients include some of the largest institutional asset managers, hedge funds, brokers and research providers in the world.

Commcise is a Euronext company, the leading pan-European exchange in the Eurozone.

The Company is seeking to hire a Sales Director, based in London. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a candidate who can bring the right balance of product and industry knowledge, communication skills, and sales aptitude to a complex value proposition. You are expected to work closely with other members of the Sales, Account Management, and Product teams to drive what can often be complex deals with detailed client-specific requirements. You will work closely with the Head of Sales and CEO(s) on regulatory developments and the future product roadmap for both Commcise and Substantive Research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate the Commcise value proposition and market differentiation among the competitive landscape.
  • Establish strong relationships with potential buyers and those in buy-side and sell-side roles relevant to both Commcise and Substantive Research.
  • Act as an SME within the Investment Research space, acting in a consultancy-type manner to both buy-side and sell-side firms to assist with driving the deal pipeline, whilst placing Commcise & SR as market-leading firms with unrivalled expertise in the space.
  • Develop a robust sales strategy document for each sales opportunity that reaches a 50% probability. This must contain all the information we’ve learned about the client and a game plan on how we close the deal.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues and product specialists to advance prospects from qualification to closing.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership Team to establish product roadmap and identify opportunities for new product launches, and enhancements to existing functionality.
  • Partner with colleagues driving the launch of a new Analyst Rankings product, providing input that will aid the strategic direction of the product.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
