Sales Director – Enterprise AI & Technology Services (UK)

Also considered at Client Partner / Business Development Director level for exceptional candidates.

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid, with significant client-facing and event-based travel across the UK.

Market focus: UK enterprise and upper mid-market across technology, financial services and professional services, including private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.

Contract: Permanent, full time. Competitive base salary plus uncapped performance-related commission.

About TeKnowledge

TeKnowledge helps governments and enterprises make AI real. Founded in 2010 and part of YNV Group, we are a global organisation of more than 4,000 people delivering across four continents, and one of Microsoft’s largest global support partners across its full technology portfolio.

We move organisations from AI ambition to measurable business value: aligning leadership, building workforce capability, establishing trusted data, cyber and governance foundations, prioritising high-value opportunities, deploying AI applications and agents, driving adoption, and operating services at scale. Our expertise spans strategic advisory, skilling and adoption, trust, cyber and data, AI and technology applications, and service excellence, accelerated by TalentWize™, inKnowVerse™ and ServiceIQ™.

The opportunity

We are building our UK presence and are looking for a senior, consultative enterprise seller based in or around London to lead new business creation. This is a pure hunting role with a strategic, executive-led sales motion at its core. You will open doors at C-suite level, shape the agenda rather than respond to it, and connect the breadth of our portfolio into a credible transformation narrative for each client.

This is not a transactional, single-product or inbound role. Success depends on your ability to create demand where none is yet formalised through your own network, targeted research, disciplined outbound, sustained business development and visible presence at the events, forums and communities where UK technology and business leaders gather.

What you will do

  • Engage senior executives as a peer on AI strategy, operating cost, productivity, customer and employee experience, workforce readiness, risk, governance and competitive position.
  • Bring a clear point of view on where a client’s AI agenda is stalling and translate boardroom ambition into a commercially structured programme of work with measurable outcomes.
  • Build self-sourced qualified pipeline across UK technology, financial services and professional services accounts.
  • Use your existing network, outbound discipline, referrals, advisers, partners and events to secure senior-level conversations.
  • Cultivate relationships with private equity investors, operating partners and portfolio leadership as routes into value creation agendas.
  • Represent TeKnowledge at industry events, roundtables and executive briefings, and work with Marketing to convert activity into pipeline.
  • Orchestrate TeKnowledge executives, practice leaders and subject matter experts at the right moments to elevate the conversation and advance deals.
  • Sell the connected value proposition across strategy, skilling and adoption, trust, cyber and data, AI delivery and managed service operations.
  • Shape complex, multi-element solutions with delivery, solution architecture, pricing, legal and finance colleagues.
  • Lead bids, proposals, RFP responses, commercial negotiations and clean handovers to delivery while retaining the executive relationship.
  • Carry and exceed an annual new business target measured on annual contract value, qualified pipeline creation and conversion.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene, forecasting and account planning, and contribute to UK go-to-market strategy as the market scales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you will bring

  • A sustained record of exceeding new business targets selling technology services, managed services, professional services, consulting, AI or digital transformation into medium to large UK enterprises.
  • An active senior network across UK technology, financial services and professional services, with the ability to secure meetings through your own relationships.
  • Credibility with C-suite and board-level buyers, including the confidence to challenge, debate and influence executive committees.
  • A genuinely consultative, insight-led sales style: you diagnose before you prescribe and sell outcomes, not capacity or headcount.
  • Strong working understanding of AI services and practical AI execution, including use case prioritisation, data readiness, governance, responsible AI, agents, copilots, adoption and operating model design.
  • Experience constructing and closing multi-year, multi-service deals involving several stakeholders, service lines, procurement, legal and risk functions.
  • High appetite for hunting, networking and creating your own opportunities in a growing market.
  • Ability to mobilise senior executives and subject matter experts at the right moment, use the wider firm effectively, and convert early-stage interest into qualified opportunity.
  • Commercial sharpness, strong written and verbal communication, executive presence and the right to work in the UK.

Desirable

  • Network across the private equity community, including deal teams, operating partners, portfolio operations groups and portfolio company executives.
  • Experience selling into PE-backed businesses during value creation, integration or exit preparation.
  • Background in a global systems integrator, consultancy, technology vendor, outsourcing provider or AI services firm.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem and partner motion.
  • Exposure to workforce skilling, adoption, cyber, data services, customer support or technical support operations.
  • Experience selling into regulated environments, particularly financial services.
  • Track record of building a market or territory from an early-stage or challenger position.

Who will thrive here

You are a builder. You are energised by an empty diary and a target list, not daunted by it. You are as comfortable in a networking room as in a boardroom, and you leave both with something in hand. You are curious about AI and its real-world application, sceptical of hype, commercially sharp and personally accountable. You know the strongest deals are won by teams, so you bring executives and experts in at the right moment, brief them well, and use them to raise the conversation.

What we offer

  • Competitive base salary with uncapped, performance-related commission aligned to annual contract value.
  • Autonomy in an entrepreneurial UK growth market, backed by the delivery capability and scale of a 4,000-person global organisation.
  • A differentiated proposition: strategy, execution and operations under one accountable partner, supported by proprietary platforms.
  • Direct access to executive leadership and the ability to shape UK go-to-market strategy.
  • Structured onboarding, sales enablement, certification and ongoing development.
  • Hybrid working and a practitioner-led culture.

How to apply

Please submit your CV with a short covering note setting out the enterprise technology services deals you have personally originated and closed in the UK, the sectors and seniority of the network you would bring, and one example of a strategic C-suite conversation that changed the direction of a client’s thinking.

TeKnowledge is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates and provide reasonable adjustments at every stage of the recruitment process on request.
