Purpose Of The Role

The Sales Director - Europe owns profitable revenue growth for TEAM's asset integrity and specialty industrial services portfolio across Europe. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record selling inspection, mechanical, and turnaround services into owner-operator environments together with proven sales leadership and the ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Accountable for revenue, gross margin, and commercial profitability across the region. Serve as a member of the Europe leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, market prioritization, investment decisions, and regional business performance reviews.

TEAM supports customers across the refining, petrochemical, chemical, power, energy, and broader process industries through inspection, asset integrity, maintenance, and specialty mechanical solutions.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Drive sales of TEAM’s full IHT and Mechanical Services portfolio to meet or exceed annual targets across Europe.
  • Train and demonstrate technical selling skills and service-line knowledge; coach the team to deliver credible presentations.
  • Develop the annual Europe commercial plan and hold Territory and Business Development Managers accountable for quota attainment.
  • Build and maintain an effective network across owner-operators, EPCs, engineering houses, maintenance contractors and inspection bodies.
  • Model expert-level CRM discipline and provide accurate monthly forecasts.
  • Guide the team through deal construction, commercial terms, tender responses and MSA negotiations.
  • Establish and execute strategic account plans for priority multinational customers and key regional owner-operators.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Service Line Leadership, Finance, HSE, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful execution of customer commitments.
  • Leverage CRM analytics, market intelligence, AI-enabled insights, and digital sales tools to improve forecasting accuracy, opportunity conversion, and customer engagement.

Skills And Knowledge Required

  • Professional demeanor with deep understanding of industrial services sales, coaching, forecasting, CRM, pricing and relationship management.
  • Preferred Experience: 10+ years industrial services sales experience; 5+ years sales leadership experience; experience leading multi-country commercial teams; demonstrated achievement of significant annual sales targets.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Highly Desirable: MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification
  • Preferred Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch, French, or German strongly preferred. Additional fluency in another major European language is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation for this position will be negotiated with the successful candidate and will be determined based on a range of factors, including relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and overall suitability for the role. Given the geographical scope of the position, which covers both the UK and Continental Europe, remuneration will also take into account the candidate's location and local market conditions to ensure a competitive and appropriate package. In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will be eligible to participate in the company's sales incentive plan, with incentive opportunities aligned to the achievement of individual and business performance objectives.
