SALES DIRECTOR – UK
Leading International R&D Tax Relief & Innovation Funding Consultancy
London | Hybrid – 2 days in the office
£90,000–£110,000 + variable compensation
We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead and accelerate the UK growth of a leading international consultancy specialising in R&D Tax Relief and Innovation Funding. This is a senior, hands-on commercial role combining sales leadership, strategy and direct business development. You will manage a team of around 5 professionals while continuing to generate your own leads, develop your pipeline and win new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the UK sales strategy and annual sales plan.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of approximately 5 sales professionals.
- Personally generate leads, build a qualified pipeline and close new business.
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers and C-level stakeholders.
- Set commercial KPIs and drive individual and team performance.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships and indirect sales channels.
- Ensure accurate CRM management, forecasting and reporting.

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience selling R&D Tax Relief / R&D Tax Credit services – essential.
- Strong knowledge of the UK R&D Tax Relief market and value proposition.
- At least 3 years’ experience managing and developing sales teams.
- Proven track record in B2B business development, lead generation and closing.
- Strong commercial, leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive and results-driven approach.
- Availability to work from the Central London office twice a week.
