Role Description

The Sales Director Europe is a full-time, on-site role based in Spain, responsible for leading and growing Kalsec’s commercial activities across European markets. This role oversees regional sales strategy, key account management, and business development with food and beverage manufacturers, distributors, and strategic partners. The Sales Director Europe will collaborate closely with marketing, technical, and supply chain teams to align regional plans with global strategy, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive sustainable revenue growth. The position also involves:

  • Regular customer visits
  • Participation in industry events
  • Representation of Kalsec’s brand and values in the region

Qualifications

  • Strong background in B2B sales and key account management within the food and beverage or ingredients industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing regional sales strategies, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse sales teams across multiple countries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders and customers.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and/or other European languages is highly beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of European food and beverage markets, regulatory environments, and trends in natural and clean-label ingredients.
  • Ability to work on-site in Spain and travel regularly across Europe to meet customers and attend industry events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative work with cross-functional global teams.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices and alignment with Kalsec’s focus on long-term, trusted partnerships.
