Overview
Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team partners with our customers to turn their priorities into measurable business outcomes and help them achieve their strategic goals. This team is responsible for delivering differentiated customer experience, bringing together the right solutions and expertise to accelerate transformation, and drive revenue growth for Microsoft.
As a Sales Director, you will lead technology transformation in one of Microsoft’s most strategic global relationships. You will be accountable for delivering meaningful outcomes for the customer and Microsoft, while leading a team of sellers to execute an integrated account and go-to-market strategy.
This is a uniquely multi-dimensional relationship with a strategic customer, a global partner and a major software vendor and data provider. You will lead an integrated sell-to, sell-with and build-with strategy, helping them realize greater value from Microsoft technology, taking joint solutions to market, and strengthening the platforms and products they build with Microsoft.
You will engage at the most senior levels of your customer, bringing industry-relevant solutions that accelerate business transformation. You will mobilize executive sponsors, global leaders and the wider Microsoft organization to align priorities, remove barriers and accelerate decisions. Drawing on your track record of growing market share, achieving sales targets, demonstrating customer obsession, and collaborating with partners, you will lead the execution of a successful account plan.
This opportunity will allow you to demonstrate sales excellence, build and lead a high-performing sales team, and shape a relationship with significant strategic value.
Given the customer-facing nature of the role, you will spend significant time working alongside customers on their premises. The role also offers flexibility with the opportunity to work up to 40% from home.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
