Sales Director - Fleet & Automotive | EV Charging

Location: London, 2 days per week in office
Salary: £80,000–£110,000 + Annual Bonus + EV + Benefits

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading European EV charging technology business as it enters its next phase of UK growth.

The business has established strong foundations across the UK and Europe and is now looking to significantly accelerate its position within fleet, leasing and automotive.

This is a senior commercial leadership position reporting directly to the UK Managing Director. You will act as a key commercial partner to the MD while taking ownership of strategic growth across the fleet and automotive ecosystem.

The opportunity suits someone who already knows this market. You may currently be working for an EV charging provider, automotive OEM, fleet/leasing organisation or mobility technology business, but you will have an established network and a track record of developing major commercial partnerships across the sector.

What you'll do

  • Lead the UK commercial strategy across fleet, leasing, automotive and strategic partnerships
  • Personally develop senior relationships with automotive OEMs, leasing companies, fleet operators, brokers, dealer groups and other strategic partners
  • Use your existing market network to create and accelerate new commercial opportunities
  • Win major national partnerships and framework agreements, taking opportunities from initial engagement through commercial negotiation and rollout
  • Identify new routes to market across fleet electrification, home charging, workplace/depot charging and associated EV services
  • Lead and develop commercial teams across key partnership and channel functions
  • Bring greater structure, alignment and accountability across the wider commercial organisation
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, product and European leadership to ensure the UK proposition meets the needs of major fleet and automotive partners
  • Own senior commercial negotiations, pipeline development, forecasting and strategic account planning
  • Act as a senior commercial representative for the UK business and a trusted partner to the Managing Director
  • Help shape the longer-term UK go-to-market strategy as the business scales

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
